Book A Comedian
Finally, Jerry is determined enough to book a comedian for his bar after his Las Vegas vacation. While in Vegas, Jerry took in a different show every night, and some of the best were the comedy showcases. He saw a lot of different comedians and really enjoyed the diversity of acts. Most of all, he realized that people loved comedy and would pay good money just for a night of laughter. When Jerry returned home, he immediately set about finding someone to put on a comedy show at his club.
After searching on the Internet for a while, he came across a booking agency that offered an entire troupe of comedians for one price. This seemed like the ideal solution. It would allow Jerry to hold a realty comedy night at the club, something that would attract a large crowd. In order to ensure the success of his comedy night, Jerry paid for some radio spots and newspaper ads to promote the event.
